Two people were transported to L.V. Stabler Memorial Hospital on Friday after a one-vehicle accident near Kolb City Road.
The Butler County Sheriff’s Office and the Alabama State Troopers responded to a call at approximately 12:45 p.m. that a vehicle had left the road and flipped multiple times.
One individual was ejected from the vehicle while the other crawled out, according to Butler County Sheriff Kenny Harden.
Harden said at this time he could not comment on the extent of the injuries or the reason the individuals lost control of the vehicle.
“All of that is still under investigation, and we won’t know until the trooper gets done with the investigation,” Harden said.
Harden believed both individuals injured in the accident were Butler County residents because of the vehicle registration.
Authorities are not releasing the names of the people involved in the accident at this time.
The accident is still under investigation.
