Southern Tradition Saddle Club will hold a horse show Saturday.

The show is divided into two classes — running classes and pleasure. The running classes will begin at 2 p.m. with the pleasure classes set to begin at 5 p.m.

Running classes are timed events that include barrel racing, pole bending, and arena races.

Pleasure classes offer contestants an opportunity to “show” their horses and are judged. They include gaited and western pleasure classes.

Both have categories for youth, junior, and senior contestants.

There is no admission fee to watch, but there are entry fees to show or run horses. Spectators are asked to bring their own chairs.

The show will be held at the Central Arena located at 3815 Halso Mill Road in Greenville.
