Bro. Emmitt Knight was born in Butler County on June 15, 1948 and the Lord called him to his Eternal Rest on Aug. 16, 2012 at Crowne Health Care. High mother Mrs. Sarah K. Davis and his sister Icy Knight preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted sister Mrs. Joanne Smith of Greenville, Ala., nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at James Herbert Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. on Aug. 19. Burial was at Magnolia Cemetery.
