David Oneal Batson, age 66, a resident of Greenville, Ala. died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012. Graveside services were held, Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012 in Sunrise Cemetery with Rev. Bob Paul officiating and full military honors followed as Mr. Batson was a retired Veteran of the United States Army. Harrison Funeral Home was in charge of all services. A visitation was held Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include: wife Linda Batson, Greenville, Ala., four children Leigh Lawrence, Greenville, Ala.; Tina Lawrence Bell, Greenville, Ala.; Jerry Lawrence, Jr. Greenville, Ala.; and Mary Lawrence Parent, Highland Home, Ala. and three grandchildren.
