James D. Cartwright, 79, a resident of Georgiana, Ala. died on Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 17, 2012 from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Harvill officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Ala. directing. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Mr. Cartwright is survived by his wife, Betty Cartwright, Georgiana, Ala.; sons, Jimmy (Deborah) Cartwright, Ronnie (Mary Lynn) Cartwright, and Tim (Stephanie) Cartwright, all of Georgiana, Ala.; sisters, Jean Shows, Georgiana, Ala., Bobbie Sweatt, Griffin, Ga., and Evelyn Gray, Hopkins, Mo.; five grand children and two great grand children.  Online condolences may be made at www.johnsongeorgiana.com.
