Funeral services for the late Mrs. Daisy Mae Robinson was held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 11 a.m. from Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Michael Foster was the officiating minister. Burial followed in St. Francis Churchyard cemetery. Hudson Funeral Services, Greenville, Ala. directed. Mrs. Robinson was born on November 8, 1932, in Butler County, Ala. to the Union of Mr. Lester Jackson and Mrs. Viola Matthews Jackson. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined St. Fancis Missionary Baptist Church of Greenville, Ala. where she served on the usher board. She later became a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church where she continued her service on the usher board until her health failed. She departed this life on Thursday July 12, 2012, at Baptist South Hospital Montgomery, Ala. She was preceded in death by her daughter Elaine Jackson, mother Viola M. Jackson, two brothers, Arthur (Ginnie) 011ison and Earnest Jackson; one sister, Pearlie Jackson. Cherishing her precious memories are: her three daughters, Voncille McWilliams, Alice Robinson both of Montgomery, Ala. Angela Wood of Luverne, Ala.; five Sons Jeny Robinson, West (Dinah) Robinson, Willie (Teresa) Robinson, George (Mecheryl) Robinson and King Robinson, all of Greenville, Ala. One brother; Johnny Jackson of Lower Peach Tree, Ala. Three sisters; Ruby Ratliff of Lithonia, Ga. Inez Savage of Georgiana, Ala. and Gladys Jackson of Greenville, Ala. One sister-in-law, Mazie Jackson Greenville, Ala. thirty one grandchildren, forty great-grand children one great-great grand. A special friend Debra Smith; a host of nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
