A 34-year-old McKenzie man has died from injuries suffered in a three-vehicle accident that occurred June 29.

Antonio “Tony” Presley of McKenzie was ejected from his vehicle following a collision on Ala. Hwy. 55 near Red Level.

Presley died from his injuries Tuesday night while at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla.

According to Covington County Sheriff Dennis Meeks, Presley was traveling southbound in a 1991 Chevy when the vehicle crossed the center line and sideswiped two vehicles headed back from a Florida beach trip.

“From what it appeared from the looks of the road, Mr. Presley crossed into their lane, sideswiped the vehicles and then flipped several times,” Meeks said.
