Doris Gafford Pierce, 86, a resident of Honoraville, Ala., died on Saturday, June 30, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at 10 a.m. with Ministers Jerry Batlow and Dennis Sanders officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Interment will be in County Line Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 2, 2012, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home. Mrs. Pierce was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Rosa Gafford, husband Gus Pierce, brothers Monroe, David Earl and Billy Joe Gafford, sister Rowena Henneman. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Betty K Gafford; nieces Nelda Moseley, Debbie Green, Sheila Lear, Jonna Crum, Clairette Littlejohn and Stephanie Boswell; nephews, Tommy Gafford and Herman Earl Pierce. Several great nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Jim Gafford, Brian Williams, Hunter Gafford, Gene Bender;  Herman Earl Pierce, James Lewis Peterson, Mike Green, Tim Gafford, Charles Lear and Jeremy Moseley.
