Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Adams and Mr. Michael Carroll Sims of Luverne are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lauren Elaine Sims to Stallion LeMar Sasser, son of Ms. Sheila Horn Sasser of Brantley and the late G. Dale Sasser.

Lauren is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Barnett King, Sr. and the late Ramona Morgan King and Mr. and Mrs. William Terry Sport, all of Luverne and the late Mr. Mixon Carroll Sims.

She is a 2004 graduate of Luverne High School and a 2008 graduate of Troy University with a bachelor’s degree in science.  She is employed with the Dale County Health Department as Public Health Environmentalist in Ozark.

Stallion is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Horace H. Horn, Sr. and Ms. Mary Compton Sasser of Brantley and the late Mr. O.L. Sasser.

He is a 1998 graduate of Brantley High School and a 2004 graduate of Lurleen B. Wallace Jr. College with an Arts Associates Degree.  He is employed with Sasser Enterprises, Inc. as Assistant Administrator at Andalusia Manor Long Term Care and Rehabilitation in Andalusia.

The wedding will take place at 4 p.m. on June 30, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Luverne, Ala.

No local invitations are being sent, but all family and friends are invited to attend.
