Horse show set for Saturday

The Southern Tradition Saddle Club is holding a horse show Saturday in Greenville.
The show is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. with running events such as barrel racing and pole bending.
At 5 p.m. the western pleasure events will kick off.
Age divisions for riders include Easy Rider (12 and under), youth (12 and under), junior (13-17) and senior (18 and up). There will also be a pony class for riders 8 and under on horses 54 inches and shorter.
The entry fee to participate is $7, with the exception of saddle horse championship ($20), western pleasure championship ($20), flat shod racking championship ($20), walking horse championship ($20), racking horse championship ($20), exhibition barrels ($3), open 3-D barrels ($21), exhibition pole bending ($3), stick horse barrel race ($1), balloon bust race ($1) and lead line riders ($3).
Concessions will be available at the event, which will be held at 3815 Halso Mill Rd. Spectators are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs. For more information call (334) 382-2010 or (334) 382-6344.
