Presley to represent McKenzie at Boys State
Ben Presley will represent McKenzie School at 75th Alabama Boys State.
Boys State is a week-long course on city, county, and state government including elections with full participation in the electoral process. During Boys State the elected members of the House and Senate convene and draft, debate and pass bills in the same manner as our elected state officials.
The students are also given an opportunity to be involved in community service, sports, theater and other interest generated activities.
The students are selected by the teachers and administrators at their schools to represent the school.
Presley is the son of Mike and Patti Presley of McKenzie. He will be a senior at McKenzie School in the fall.
