The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for southwestern Crenshaw County until 4:30 p.m.

At 3:32 p.m., a developing line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds over 60 mph were located along a line extending 10 miles southeast of Greenville to 12 miles west of Monroeville and moving east at 30 mph.

Locations impacted include: McKenzie, I-65 and CR-7, I-65 and AL 106, I-65 and AL-10, Georgiana and Greenville.
