Kwaishawn Albritton won the Zone Four oratorical contest on March 31 at Frazier Memorial United Methodist Church in Montgomery. Albritton represented the Butler County Optimist Club. She will now compete on the regional level where she will face winners from other zone competitions in the state. The winner of the regional competition will go on to compete in the district contest with the chance to win a $2,500.00 scholarship. The Butler County Optimist Club will host the regional oratorical contest on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Beeland Park Community Center at 10 a.m. Pictured from left to right are Helen Howard,  Kwaishawn Albritton and Deirdre Womack.
