Mary Katherine Morgan Flury, 78, of Pensacola, FL, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 22, 2012. She was born in Georgiana, AL on May 27, 1933 to Wilbur Morgan and Callie (Mabel) Leyseath Morgan.

Mary devoted her life to taking care of elder persons in home care services and lived many years in Pensacola, FL. She enjoyed spending time at area beaches in Pensacola, FL, her favorite being, Perdido Key, FL. She often took trips with friends to have fun and be in the company of others. She attended Circle Baptist Church in Pensacola, FL and became friends with many members of the church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed and will always have a special place in our hearts.

She is survived by one sister, Nelda Anderson, of Monticello, FL. Children; Cynthia Winter Gorgogolione, of Pensacola, FL, Calvin (Sonny) Winter, Jr. and wife Martha, of Thomasville, GA, Vicki Winter Sweeney and her husband Herb of Tallahassee, FL. Nine grandchildren; Chad Smith and his wife Jamie of Marianna, FL, Audra Smith of Largo, FL, Carl Allen of Tallahassee, FL, Samantha Howell Singh and her husband Shawn of Knoxville, TN, Priscilla Howell and Jessica Howell of Crawfordville, FL, Douglas Winter of Thomasville, GA, Ben Winter and his wife Mallory of Greenville, SC and Brianna Durbin of Milton, FL, 2 great grandchildren, special cousin Sarah Morgan Scott of Greenville, AL and special loving friend Floyd Lacey of Pensacola, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wilbur and Callie Mabel Morgan. Sisters; Erline Morgan of Georgiana, AL and Margaret Anderson of Tallahassee, FL. Brothers; Dudley Morgan of Birmingham, AL, Winston Morgan of Montgomery, AL, Lister (Buddy) Morgan of Heflin, AL, General Vernon Morgan of Winter Park, FL. Daughters; Marjorie Lee Howell of Crawfordville, FL and Kimberly Reiges Durbin of Pensacola, FL.

The funeral service will be held Friday, April 6, 2012 at 11:00am (cst) at the Barrancas Cemetery on the Pensacola Naval Air Station.
