Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nathaniel Foster announce today the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Jehle McFerrin Foster, to Timothy Slade Piggott, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James William Piggott.

Miss Foster is the granddaughter of Mrs. Rufus Edward McFerrin, Jr. and the late Dr. Rufus Edward McFerrin, Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel Davis Foster, all of Greenville.

The bride-to-be, a graduate of Fort Dale Academy, was graduated from Samford University in Birmingham with a B.S. degree in Fine Arts. She is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha social sorority. She is employed by McFerrin’s Jewelry.

The bridegroom-elect, a graduate of Greenville High School, is employed by the Butler County Board of Education.

Mr. Piggott is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Kelly Bodiford of Greenville and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Emory Piggott also of Greenville.

The couple’s wedding is planned for June at Southside Baptist Church in Greenville.
