Ross, McIntosh to wed

Ms. Gloria P. Crosby of Greenville, Ala., Mr. and Mrs. Emmett L. Ross of Pacoima, Calif., and Mr. Henry Mitchell of Detroit, Mich., announce the engagement of their daughter and goddaughter Ashley LaTisha Ross of Birmingham, Ala., to Marcus Trimaine McIntosh of Birmingham, Ala., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Buskey of Georgiana, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Ray Kent of McKenzie, Ala.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Annie M. McKee and the late Claude McKee, the late Douglass Poole, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Cowan and Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Ross of Georgiana, Ala.

Ross is a graduate of Georgiana High School and the University of Alabama in Birmingham with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in criminal justice. Ross is employed in Birmingham with the State Department of Humane Resources.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mrs. Era McIntosh and the late Dovie Kent of Georgiana, Ala.

McIntosh is a graduate of Georgiana High School and Jefferson Davis Community College with an Associate Degree and also graduated from the University of West Alabama.

He is employed at Motions Industries, Inc. in Quality Control.

The wedding is planned for March 17 at 4 p.m. at Long Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Georgiana.
