Marie Golden Shirley, age 85, a resident of Greenville, AL died on Monday, March 05, 2012.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Hamm officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.  Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.

Mrs. Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Guy Shirley, daughter, Cindy Bentley, and brother, Terry Golden.  She is survived by her sons, Ricky (Maureen) Shirley of Ozark, AL, Scott (Helena) Shirley of Greenville, AL, son-in-law, C. Frank (Rhonda) Bentley of Greenville, AL, grandchildren, Michelle Kelley of Ozark, AL, Stephanie (John) Forrester of Ozark, AL, Shawn (Lisa) Shirley of Dothan, AL, Brenda Shirley of Ozark, AL, Jason Scott (Beth) Bentley of Gardendale, AL, Christopher Lee (Susanne) Bentley of Glenwood Landing, NY, Andrea Camille (Bob) Harrison of Kinston, NC, Matthew (Anita) Gafford of Greenville, AL, Paul (Jackie) Shirley of Ft. Walton Beach FL, Elen Shirley of Troy, AL and Melody Blair of Jacksonville, FL, twelve great-grandchildren, and nieces, Tracey Golden (Tom) Hanrahan of Birmingham, AL, Beth Golden (Greg) Jones of Millbrook, AL, and Marcia Golden of Raleigh, NC.
