An Illinois man wanted by the U.S. Marshals was captured in Greenville Wednesday morning.

According to Butler County Sheriff Kenny Harden, Arthur Anthony Divio, 63, was wanted on warrants of probation violation. Harden said he was unsure of the original charge facing Divio, but that “he has an extensive history of illegal firearm possession.”

Harden said Divio came to Butler County in August and the U.S. Marshals contacted the BCSO to help find the house he was staying in.

The BCSO assisted the Marshals in apprehending Divio. He has since been transferred to a correctional facility in Montgomery, according to Harden.
