Good Samaritans give dog a miracle

Dear Editor,

I would like to tell you a story about a little dog that got a miracle.

I was walking by a house where no one lives the other day and I heard the faint sound of a puppy yelping. I couldn’t tell exactly where it was coming from when two good Samaritans came by. They were Mr. Hubbard Smith and his son Christopher. They located the puppy, which had fallen into a well underneath the house. Mr. Smith was able to hook a wire in a collar the puppy was wearing and pulled it out of the well. We were trying to figure out what to do with the puppy when another good Samaritan, Mrs. Martha Waters, came by and recognized the puppy. She said she knew where the owner lived. She notified him and he came and got the puppy. Animals are one of God’s creations, so be kind to them or you may find yourself in a worse place that well. Just rhyme it.
