UDC recognizes General Lee

The Father Ryan Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy met at the First White House of the Confederacy in Montgomery on Jan. 19, Gen. Robert E. Lee's birthday, to commemorate his significance in America's history. Bob Bradley, chief curator of Alabama Archives and History spoke about Lee's life and legacy before the War Between the States and following.
