Waffle House served its first breakfast to Mayor Dexter McLendon this morning.
At 9 a.m. the Waffle House opened to the public.
“It looks great out there,” McLendon said. “I just really like the Waffle House. It was good.”
Mike Clements, region manager for Waffle House said the opening went smoothly. “Looking around, you can see we’re packed,” Clements said. “The building was originally built in the 1970s, and Waffle House is aggressively re-imaging and modernizing their facilities to make a better place for customers to come.”
Waffle House will be open 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.
