Savannah Terrace Assisted Living in Andalusia held a 105th birthday bash in December for Agnes Gatlin.

Gatlin is the second oldest person in the state, according to Brandee McNaughton, volunteer coordinator for SouthernCare Hospice.

McNaughton regularly teams up with Savannah Terrace activity director Jared Boutwell to provide monthly craft activities to the residents at Savannah Terrace.

“I am blessed to be a part of SouthernCare Hospice where I get to meet people like Mrs. Agnes, and be a part of their lives,” McNaughton said.  “Mrs. Agnes is a joy to be around and is the second oldest individual in Alabama.”
