Funeral services for the late Mr. Westley Coquett Allen Sr., were held on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. from Harrison Street Christian Church. Rev. Timothy O’Neal, Pastor. Rev. Herbert McCoy, officiated. Burial followed in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Hudson Funeral Services, Greenville, Alabama directed. Bro. Westley Allen Sr. was born in Butler County, AL., to the late Mrs. Carrie Lee Drake-Allen & Glen W. Allen on April 6, 1959.  He joined Mt. Ida Baptist Church at an early age.  Later he united with Bible Way.  Then he later joined Harrison St. Christian Church where he served until his health failed. He was a graduate of Greenville High Class (1977).  He was married to Cynthia Gray. To this union (4) children were born.  He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted friend Cynthia Allen, (4) children, Westley  Allen Jr., Joshua Allen, Erica (Cordrick) Johnson, Latonya Allen all of Greenville, AL., (5) sisters, Annie Savage, Ollie (Tommy) Powell, Ella Marsh, all of Greenville, AL., Helen (Roy) Davis, Jupiter, FL., Princess (Rickey) Lake, Detroit MI., (6) brothers, Claiborne Allen, Calvin (Cynthia) Allen, both of Greenville, AL., Willie Allen, Oakland, CA., Rev. Robert (Christine) Lewis, Greenville, AL., Thomas (Geraldine) Lewis, Georgiana, AL., (1) uncle R.J. (Patricia) Patterson, father-in-law L.J.
