Salter named general manager of Greenville Newspapers

Tracy Salter, 32, has been named general manager of Greenville Newspapers, LLC, publisher of The Greenville Advocate, The Butler County News, The Lowndes Signal, The Luverne Journal and Camellia Magazine, and affiliated websites.
A Greenville native, Salter joined Greenville Newspapers in 1999 working in the classified department before serving as an outside marketing consultant.
She has served the past eight years as advertising manager, and led the advertising department to three consecutive Alabama Press Association Sweepstakes Awards, the highest advertising honor in the Advocate’s circulation division.
“The Greenville Advocate has a long history of producing an awardwinning newspaper and I look forward to working alongside the staff in continuing that tradition.” Salter said.
Salter and her husband Daniel have two children; Ryan, 16, and Andrew, 12.
She is a member of Greenville Kiwanis Club, and a committee member of LV Stabler Memorial Healthy Woman program. She and her family are members of Antioch West Baptist Church.
