The Rotary Club of Greenville presented April Lowery, director of the Department of Human Resources, with a check for $3,000 on Thursday as part of the club’s Coats for Kids program. Jim Krudop, club president, said the project is one of the club’s most outstanding projects. “This is what Rotary is all about, service above self. I’m happy we were able to work with April to provide coats for these kids and even some adults.” Rotarians Walt Parmer and Wayne Killough coordinated the program.
