Michael Chappelle, died on December 10, 2011. He was born in Greenville,AL., graduated from Greenville High School, Marion Military Institute and the University of Alabama where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega.

He was preceeded in death by his parents , John Morris Chappelle and Martha Atkins Chappelle Mills, and his brother John Morris Chappelle, Jr.

He is survived by his son, John Michael Chappelle of Point Clear and his daughter Catherine Boyd Chappelle Padgett, her husband Jason and their son Dawson Roberts Padgett. Also, his sister Martha ( Sissy ) Chappelle Galloway  and her husband Frank of Birmingham, AL.

A memorial service will be held at Pine Apple United Methodist Church at 10 : AM on Saturday December 17,2011 with Reverend Reid McCormick, rector of St. Thomas Episcopal Church officiating.
