Members of the Georgiana Masonic Lodge No. 285 and Greenville’s Eureka Lodge No. 64 placed a wreath next to the World War I monument at the Butler County Courthouse Saturday as part of the Wreaths Across America campaign. Wreaths Across America is a nonprofit organization started to continue and expand the annual wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery started by Morrill Worcester in 1992. The organization helps coordinate wreath laying ceremonies on the second Saturday of December at Arlington, as well as veterans’ cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states.
