Esterlene Stanford Cole, age 72, a resident of Greenville, Alabama, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 1, 2011 after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert L. Stanford and Mary Frances May Stanford, her husband, James Winston Cole, her sister, Weida Stanford Stinson, her brothers, Byron  Stanford, John  Stanford, Winfred Stanford, and Randall lee Stanford. She is survived by one son, James Alan (Jimmy) Cole, daughter-in-law, Peytie Newton Cole, and two grandchildren, Haley Amanda Cole and James Phillip Cole, she is also survived by one sister-in-law, Ann Stanford, a niece and special caregiver, Jeanette Taylor, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews . Sincere thanks also to a special friend and caregiver Judy Hicks. Mrs. Cole was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on December 3, 2011, from the Chapel of Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home with Reverends Herbert Brown and Watson Wasden officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:30-3 p.m. Graveside to follow at Sunrise Cemetery.
