The company employs a number of Butler County residents, said Public Relations Specialist Meghan Branum, herself a Greenville native.

Greenville joined Montgomery and other surrounding municipalities offering incentives to attract Hyundai to the area.

Greenville’s pledge was for $333,000 over three years.

“We sure want to be part of the Hyundai family because they’ve done a lot for Greenville and for Butler County,” said Greenville Mayor Dexter McLendon.
