Two people were arrested and charged with conspiracy to distribute, Butler County Sheriff Kenny Hardin said.
Willie Perez Boggan, 27, and Brian Javoris Walker, 29, were arrested Thursday, Nov. 10 on federal indictments.
It was a joint investigation between the DEA, Second District Judicial Task Force, U.S. Marshals, Butler County Sheriff’s Office and Greenville Police Department.
“The DEA was working drug cases in Pike County and was able to determine drugs were coming into Butler County,” Hardin said. “We started working together.”
No drugs were confiscated in the arrest.
“That’s two large drug deals taken off the street in Butler County and that all comes from working with other agencies.”
