Peggy Melissa Wyrosdick Sanford, 80, of McKenzie, AL, passed away at her residence on Monday, September 26, 2011.  Graveside services were held September 27, 2011 at New Home Baptist Church on Co. Rd. 47, McKenzie, Bro. Mack Riley of Silverhill officiated.  Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directed.  Mrs. Sanford was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Henry Herbert Sanford, a son, Gary Sanford, and son-in-law, Lamar Williams.  She leaves to cherish her memory; daughters:  Sheila Sanford, Melinda Williams, son:  David (Katrine) Sanford all of McKenzie; grandchildren:  Jason (Alicia) Williams of Evergreen, Stephanie (Bryan) Davis of Evergreen, Jessica (Derrick Wingard) Williams of McKenzie, Danielle (Jim) Milton of Greenville, Derrick (Olivia) Williams of Evergreen, Missi (Cain) Ledbetter of Flomaton, Neil Sanford of Philadelphia, PA, Jonathan (Brittany Till) Sanford of McKenzie; as well as great grandchildren:  Sarah Williams, Murfee Williams, Keith Davis, Preston Williams, Grace Carrier, DJ Sanford, Emma Sanford; her many nieces, nephews, and friends, including special friends of over 50 years, Abbie Patterson of Red Level and Mary Lou Riley of Silverhill.
