Bolton, Baudinet to wed Sunday

Margaret Hayes Bolton and Michael Andrew Baudinet will be married Sunday, September 18, 2011 at the University of Virginia Chapel in Charlottesville, Virginia. Reverend Paul Walker and Father John Cooney will officiate the service.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Powers Bolton of Selma, Alabama. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Moody Brock of Greenville, Alabama and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Merrill Bolton, Jr. of Montgomery, Alabama. She is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Louise B. Hayes and the late R. Sirmon Hayes as well as the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas K. Coker, Sr. all of Greenville, Alabama.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Andrew Baudinet of Watertown, Connecticut and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Baudinet of Brooklyn, New York and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Connor.
The bride, who plans to wear her sister’s veil, will be given in marriage by her father. She will wear a Paloma Blanca white gown of Alencon lace over duchess silk in a classic modified a-line. The off-the-shoulder neckline is adorned with a scalloped lace detail. The back of the gown features the same scalloped detail with silk covered buttons extending out to the hem of the cathedral length train. She will carry a bridal bouquet of white cymbidium orchids with an indigo throat, purple hydrangeas, white calla lilies, and magnolias.
The bridesmaids will wear knee length Priscilla of Boston dresses in an eggplant silk charmeuse, featuring a bateau neckline and a ruched bodice. They will carry hand-tied bouquets of white orchids and ivory calla lilies.
Merrill Bolton South of Selma, Alabama, sister of the bride, will serve as the matron of honor. Mairi Parker Kincaid, of Bluemont, Virginia will serve as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids include: Bridget Mary Baudinet, sister of the groom, of Watertown, Connecticut; Anna Rosalie Boyle of Woodstock, Georgia; Betty Brook Easterly of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Marissa Rachel Kessler of Richmond, Virginia; Allison Marie Murphy of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and Elizabeth Ann Oswald of Atlanta, Georgia.
Eric Darnell Gama of Houston, Texas will serve as the best man. Groomsmen include: Brian Charles Baudinet, brother of the groom, of Watertown, Connecticut; Christopher Patrick Baudinet, brother of the groom, of Boston, Massachusetts; Thomas Matthew Baudinet, brother of the groom, of Watertown, Connecticut; Steven Michael South, brother-in-law of the bride, of Selma, Alabama; Cade Arthur Lemcke of Rochester, New York; Matthew Vincent Smyth of Charlottesville, Virginia; and Nicholas Emile Redmond of Baltimore, Maryland.
Carolyn Ann Carnahan of Fairfax, Virginia and Lynne Elizabeth Gama of Midlothian, Virginia will serve as readers during the ceremony. Elizabeth Woodard and Martha Byrd will serve as program attendants. Music will be provided by harpist Eve Watters of Charlottesville, Virginia and trumpeter Mary Anderson, also of Charlottesville, Virginia.
The bride’s niece, Emma Kathryn South, as well as the groom’s goddaughter, Mikella Chase Lemcke, will serve as flower girls, each wearing French hand sewn white dresses with white silk Batiste collars with the wedding ring motif, hand-stitched with ivory antique lace.
Each flower girl will wear a garland of baby’s breath and white roses in her hair.
Cohen Arthur Lemcke will serve as the ring bearer, wearing a classic black tuxedo.
Dinner and dancing on the grounds of Veritas Vineyard in the Blue Ridge Mountains will follow the ceremony.
After their honeymoon, the couple will reside in Boston, Massachusetts where the groom will conclude his study at Harvard Law School.
