Funeral services for Tracy Smith were held on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 1 p.m. at New Beginnings Ministries, Bishop Herbert McCoy officiating. Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery. Mr. Smith leaves to cherish his memories his lovely wife, Deloise Smith; four stepchildren, Meosha (Aubrey) Benson, Eric, Martina and Lakista Matthews; three special adopted children, Jadamion, Jazmiion, and Javon Chalmers; his devoted mother and stepfather, Sarah (Johnny) Johnson; brother, James Curtis Smith; special aunt, Clara M. Thomas; five aunts, Betty Peterson, Mary Bell, Mattie; four uncles, John Bell, Brooklyn, N.Y., Eddie Lee Bell, DeLand, Fla., Joe Bell, Ft Walton Beach, Fla., Anthony Bell, Greenville; devoted cousins Jamie, Priscilla, Velma, Willie Jr., Jonathan Thomas and a host of other relatives and friends.
