Willie James Mullin, 82, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 5 at 12:30 p.m. at the New Beginning Ministries with the Bishop Harold Daniels Sr. officiating. Interment to follow in Sunrise Cemetery with James Hebert Funeral Home directing.

He leaves to rejoice in his life two daughters, Anna (Ron Winters of Oak Park, Ill., Cynthia Grant (Charlie Garmon, deceased) of Greenville; one son, Bruce (Theresa) Mullin of Broadview, Ill.; seven sisters, Margaret (CD) Salter, Emma J. (Archie) Coleman, Edna E. (Rick) Hudson, Ella D. (John) Tate, Willie M. (Clemmons) Milton, all of Birmingham, Mary L. Moorer, Greenville, Katie L. Middleton, Pensacola, Fla.; two brothers, Archie McClaney, Birmingham and Paul Mullin; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Daisy Carter and Dora B. McClaney; four loving caretakers, Bernice Johnson, Diane Poole, Sandra Poole (his nieces), Conrad Rhodes and a host of other relatives and friends.
