Clyde Dickey Bozeman, 79, of Evergreen, died July 22, 2011 at his residence.

Funeral services were held at graveside at 5 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Magnolia Cemetery with Cope Funeral Home of Evergreen handling the arrangements.

Mr. Bozeman was born on October 24, 1931 in Conecuh County. He was the owner and publisher of Thomasville Times, publisher of The Choctaw Advocate, editor of the Sumpter Journal and postmaster of Thomasville.

He is survived by: his wife, Beverly Bozeman of Evergreen; a son, Melton Bozeman (Donna) of Orange Beach; daughters, Rebecca Hickman (Frank) of Greenville, Allison Wiggins of Evergreen, Martha Kidman of Pensacola, Vivian Foxworth (Kenneth) of Evergreen and Ellen Moorer of Pensacola; a sister, Susan Cook (Burt) of Evergreen; six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
