Powell named to Montevallo’s President’s List

Kimberly A. Powell, a native of Greenville and a 2007 Greenville High School graduate, was named to the University of Montevallo’s President’s List for the spring semester.
She was one of 428 students to be named to the list. To make the President’s List, a student must earn at least a 3.8 grade point average on a 4.0 scale and be a full-time student at the university. Powell maintained a 4.0 GPA for the spring semester.
Powell, who is expected to graduate from Montevallo in December, was also rewarded with the $1,200 Lulu Rainer Palmer Memorial Scholarship from the Elementary and Secondary Education Programs scholarship committee.
She is the daughter of Wehr Lee and Sarah Powell.
