Does your doggie’s coat need a summer cleaning? Then plan to bring Princess or Pal to the Pet Laundry on N. Conecuh St. Saturday, June 4, from 7 a.m. to noon for the Butler County Humane Society’s Annual Wag & Wash and Yard Sale.
BCHS volunteers will be on hand to give local pooches large and small a good suds and rinse. While pets are getting a new “do,” their owners can browse among the many treasures to be had at the yard sale to be held in front of the Pet Laundry, says Annie Crenshaw of the BCHS.
Household items, home décor, tools, accessories, toys, Christmas items, furnishings, and much more will be offered at the sale.
“All proceeds from both the dog wash and the yard sale will go to support the Butler County Humane Society’s efforts for animals, including more rescues, pet adoptions and spay/neuters to help limit the number of unwanted animals born each year,” said Crenshaw.
“If you are a dog owner or simply an animal lover who wants to bag bargains for a great cause, then you won’t want to miss this event Saturday.”
