McKenzie Kole Manus

MacKenzie Kole Manus, a former Evergreen resident, passed away April 8, 2011. She had many friends and never knew a stranger. Her infectious smile and respect for others made you feel as though you had known her forever.  She was vivacious and full of life with a kind heart that was always thinking of others.

MacKenzie, born June 28, 1993, was a senior at Hillsboro High School in Nashville. She was a student at Sparta Academy in Evergreen in the 9th and 10th grades. After graduation she planned on attending Western Kentucky University.

MacKenzie was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church where she was baptized.

MacKenzie loved reading, music, the outdoors and sports, particularly Alabama football.

MacKenzie’s family include her mother MaryAnne Manus of Evergreen; her father, Dusty Manus and Rosalie of Nashville; her brother Logan Manus of Evergreen; her grandparents Nolen and Jewel McCormick of Greenville; her great aunt and uncle Bertie Mae and Bobby Thomas of Greenville; her aunt Melissa Cantrell of Greenville; and her uncles’ Monroe Pettus of Glenwood and William McCormick of Greenville.
