The storms have past and it’s time to put those pooches on parade in the park and help helpless animals in the county.
The Butler County Humane Society’s “Bark in the Park” returns to Confederate Park today, April 16 kicking off at 9 a.m. on the south side of the park, right across from First United Methodist Church.

The annual Pet Parade is slated to begin at 10:30 a.m. with prizes galore to be given away. Pet-themed items will also be on sale and some cute adoptable critters will be offered for adoption into a good home. All proceeds go to the Butler County Humane Society and its endeavors to support the Greenville Animal Shelter and to establish a Second Chance shelter in the county.
