Willie J. Wilsons’s funeral services were held at 11 a.m. February 19, 2011 from Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert O. White officiating. Burial followed in Peavey Cemetery with Hudson Funeral Service directing. He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Willie (Earnestine) Wilson, Chris (Judy) Lewis; four daughters, Zula McDonald, Zella Wilson (all of Greenville), Joann (Willie) Scott of Ft. Deposit and Minnie Rudolph of Pensacola; other children, Sara McDonald, Janice (Willie) Peterson, Gayle Lewis, all of Greenville; Rosie Bell, Rochester, NY; devoted sister, Pearlie (Henry) Albritton, devoted brother, Earlie (Ida Mae Smith) Aceman, Greenville; devoted aunt, Leanna Rudolph; devoted great-nephew, Anfernee Aceman; devoted uncle, Jack Rudolph, both of Georgiana; devoted cousin, Jessie Mae Coleman and special friend, George Coleman, both of Greenville; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren,  and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and many, many friends.
