Mrs. Eron Griffin, age 86, a resident of Gerogiana, AL passed away at home on March 5, 2011.  Funeral services were held on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Antioch West Baptist Church with Rev. Watson Wasden officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.  Burial followed in the church cemetery.  Mrs. Griffin is survived by her husband, O’Neal Griffin; daughters, Gail (Lanier) Powell of Greenville, AL, Sherry (David) Salter of Georgiana, AL, Shelia Salter of Georgiana, AL, Lauren (Lloyd) Shell of Georgiana, AL; son-in-law, Perry Salter of Georgiana, AL; grandchildren, Dave Salter, Bryan Salter, Dawn Vickery, Daniel Salter, Griffin Powell, Kyle Salter and Dustin Shell; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Frances (James Thera) Tindal of Honoraville, AL; sister-in-law, Flora (Carl) Steadham of Bay Minette, AL; sister-in-law, Barbara Raybon of Honoraville, AL, and many nieces and nephews.  The pall bearers were Dave Salter, Bryan Salter, Daniel Salter, Griffin Powell, Kyle Salter, Dustin Shell and honorary pall bearer Chad Vickery.
