Education Retirees plan trip to annual meeting

The Butler County Education Retirees Association met at LBW College Technology Center on Feb. 1, 2011, at 10 a.m. Plans were made for attending the Annual Meeting in Birmingham on Tuesday, March 29, which will be held at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center. Members brought canned goods for the local food bank “Yes, We Can Feed Alabama Campaign” and Valentine cards for students in elementary schools.
James Stephens with the Alabama Department of Public Health conducted a Wellness Clinic.
The next meeting will be April 5, 2011, at LBW College Technology Center at 10 a.m.
