Garrett Hartley is the recipient of a four-year University of Alabama at Birmingham(UAB) Golden Excellence Scholarship valued up to $24,000. He is the son of Greg and Nancy Hartley.

Hartley is a senior at Greenville High School where he’s a member of the Key Club, School Band, Beta Club, Drama Club, Scholars Bowl, National English Honors Society and National Spanish Honors Society. At UAB, he will major in Biology.
