McKenzie takes Clean Campus honors

A south Butler county campus took honors for tidiness while the board was honored by the superintendent at the most recent meeting of the Butler County Board of Education.
McKenzie School was awarded the Clean Campus Trophy for January, while Superintendent Darren Douthitt presented each of the Board of Education members with certificates in recognition of their contributions to education in the county.
Business conducted by the BOE included:
*Approval of the personnel report. Employment—Otis Grayson, Transition Job Coach, county-wide; Litta Norris, Pay-Plus Coordinator, voluntary transfer from reading coach at W. O. Parmer Elementary. Resignation—Willie Crenshaw, custodian, Greenville High School. Leave of Absence—Denise Grant, bus driver, Transportation Department.
