After avoiding police for several weeks, the third suspect in a rape that occurred in Butler County in December is in custody. Derrick Rudolph, 23, turned himself into authorities on Wednesday and was charged with rape, 1st.

Lovvorn said that Rudolph had been hiding around Wetumpka. After local television stations broadcasted a photograph of Rudolph, he returned to Greenville to avoid the police pressure there, Lovvorn said.
