The Alabama Sportswriters Association recently released its list of All-State football players, and several Crenshaw County players made the cut.

Robert Freeman, a senior offensive lineman, was named to the first-team 3A offense.

Freeman had a solid season despite missing action early with a leg injury.

Brantley’s Devonte Porter was given an honorable mention at running back in 1A.

For the AISA, several players also earned honorable mentions.

Rann Smyth (linebacker), Storm Worthington (defensive lineman) and Pete King (punter) were named.
