Greenville native Lindsey Kennedy Benedict and her company, Music Lessons Express, have released a new CD filled with the songs of the season. “This Gift,” which features Benedict and the talented instructors who make up Music Lessons Express, includes such songs as “Carol of the Bells,” “What Child is This,” “Ding Dong Merrily on High,” “Oh Holy Night,” “This Gift,” “The Holly and the Ivy,” “Oh Come Emmanuel,” “Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming,” “The Huron Carol” and “God Rest Ye Merry, Gentleman.” The CD, which features jazz, folk, classical and pop stylings, is available locally at McFerrin’s, Priester’s Pecans, at the home of Charles and Margie Kennedy  and online at www.cdbaby.com.

“The title track is a song I wrote and it is now getting international airplay,” said Benedict.
