Exia Womack Floyd

Exia Womack Floyd, 82, died on Nov. 20, 2010 at Crown Health Care in Greenville, Ala. Exia Womack Floyd was born Oct, 24, 1928, the fourth of six children, to the union of the late Charlie and Clara Adams. She had ten brothers and sisters to precede her in death, Charlie, JC, John Henry, Chester, Clinton, Toil, Rosa Lee, Ruby, Erena, and Lola. She is survived by one loving daughter, Paula Womack; a brother, Henry Adams (Josie); 5 sisters; Bessie Coleman, Dorothy Scott, Mattie Simmons, Tisha Hamilton, and Alice Upshaw; step children, grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Exia accepted Christ as her lord and Savior at an early age and united with the Ridgeville Baptist Church. She returned to her hometown of Forest Home, Ala. after living in Cleaveland, Ohio for almost forty years. Without a pause, she once again became an active member at the Ridge church serving as Missionary President and Sunday School teacher.
