Two Greenville Elementary School students were recognized for their outstanding achievements at Thursday night’s BOE meeting. Elijah Bell and Hannah Simmons each received a special token of appreciation from Superintendent Darren Douthitt after getting perfect scores on the math portion of the ARMT.  Douthitt also expressed thanks to their former teacher, Gayle Gafford, a newly retired educator, for her work with the children.”Those are two wonderful, precious children and they were a joy to work with,” Gafford said.
