Baseball coach Andre Parks was one of the teachers receiving a pie to the face.

Students at Luverne High School got a special treat as several teachers and administrators took a pie in the face for a good cause.

For the past two months, the school has been raising money through the Box Tops for Education.

Last year, Luverne raised $103 from Box Tops, but this year that number is already at $648.

So far, the top saving class belongs to Rachel Watts, who will receive $50 for supplies or an ink cartridge.

The top five students who got to throw a pie were: Callie Armstrong, Courtney Taylor, Hunter Kendrick, Chance Turner and Tony Bell.

On the receiving end were: Principal Chuck Alford, assistant principal Latosha Green, coach Les Sanders, coach Andre Parks and band director Jonathan Chance.
